In 1965, Bob Crane, who had achieved some earlier success as a television supporting actor, was working as a successful morning radio DJ at KNX Los Angeles. Despite enjoying his work, photography (especially of the female form) and drumming, Crane wanted to be a movie star. So it was with some reluctance that he accepted the title starring role in a new television sitcom called...。20世纪二十年代的旧上海，转行做水果生意的郑木匠（郑鹧鸪 饰）与祝郎中（郑正秋 饰）的店铺隔街相望。所谓红男绿女，郑木匠恋上了祝郎中的女儿（余英 饰），他是不是送对方水果，还帮助祝小姐赶走骚扰的阿飞。两人逐渐坠入情网。 然而当郑木匠登门提亲之时，心有不快的祝郎中却提出一个苛刻的条件。郑木匠若能让冷清的药铺顾客盈门，便可迎娶祝小姐。这并未难倒郑木匠，他想出了一个绝妙的办法…… 本片为是现存尚可放映的最早的一部中国电影，也是中国现存最早的故事片。。
