影片讲述了二十世纪八十年代，内蒙古老牛堡村村民翻修房屋时发现一枚印章。大学生柱子携带印章前往县委途中，偶遇从台湾归来的郑大山，郑大山的回忆揭开了抗战时期袁晨光等地下党员为保护该印章与日军斗争牺牲的往事。。Simone inherits a dilapidated farmhouse in France and makes her way there with her husband Eric and their two children. Her dream is to turn the house into a bed and breakfast but as the hectic pace of the rebuilding gets underway, she gets caught up in the romance and chaos of it all.
