吴松友，一位天桥绝活老艺人的后人。从五岁起便跟着父亲练武学艺，掌握了大刀剁腹、钢筋锁咽喉等绝活绝技。如今，已经五十多岁的他创立起了吴家班，并延续着老天桥艺人的传统招徒授艺，并带领着自己的吴家班弟子们在现如今的经济社会中继续着绝活绝技的表演。而在“一切向钱看”的当下，愿意学习绝活的年轻人越来越少了，天桥绝活如何传承下去，吴松友和他的吴家班遇到了最为现实的一个问题。。The Once-Lers are told by the owner that they can sit on the wagon and that it had better not move.
